Study Abroad

A Walnut Hill College education gives students the opportunity to spend a semester studying at the world's most renowned resorts and restaurants, either abroad or at a location in the United States. Graduates leave the college with an impressive international perspective that distinguishes them from colleagues in the industry.

Students have the option of spending three months at the beautiful La Grand Marque in Chartes, France. Under the guidance of Chef Michel Meunier, undergraduates are immersed in an incredible learning experience - a European apprenticeship. Students have acclaimed that their apprenticeships at La Grand Monarque have broadened their views of the culinary arts profession. This mentor program is stimulating, exhilarating, and unforgettable.

Restaurant Management and Hotel Management students are afforded the opportunity to experience an international apprenticeship in Bath, England at the fabulous Bath Spa Hotel and the Royal Crescent Hotel. Culinary and management students can also complete apprenticeships at world famous restaurants such as La Gavroche in London and Le Manoir de Quat Saisons in Taplow.
