 Cruise and Resort Tour
     Trip departing March 21, 2004

Wednesday, March 24 - The group checked in to the Old Key West Resort at about noon on Sunday. In the afternoon they enjoyed the seminar Innovations in Action where they got to see the underground tunnel at Disney as well as learn some of the "tricks of the trade". That evening they had dinner at the House of Blues which everyone found interesting and enjoyable.

 

On Monday the Hotel Management students visited the Royal Pacific Resort with the Restaurant Management students went to the Hard Rock Café. The HM students met up with them there for lunch and then for a tour of Emeril's restaurant. The group split up again in the afternoon with the Hotel Management students going to see the Hard Rock Hotel. The Restaurant Management students headed out to the Renaissance Orlando Resort where they were met in the courtyard by a host of employees and received a tour of the facilities.

 

On Tuesday the RM students received tours of the Rainforest Café and the House of Blues, where they not only toured the restaurant but also the concert facility. The RM students spent the morning touring the Hyatt Regency Grand Hyatt. The groups met again for lunch, this time at Disney Institute.

 

On Wednesday the students visited the Caribbean Beach Resort and the Yacht and Beach Resort. They enjoyed a Cuban-themed lunch at Bongos. The afternoon was spent visiting some of the restaurants on the Boardwalk at Disney and the Ritz Carlton Grand Lakes .

 

Everyone is looking forward to boarding the ship on Thursday!
